Ah-nuld may have motivated millions of men to lift weights, but it was foxy female bodybuilder Lisa Lyon who inspired us to pump our love muscles. Years before gyms filled with thots doing squats in search of bigger asses, this rock-hard honey made us flex in our shorts when she won the first Women’s Pro Bodybuilding Championship in Los Angeles in 1979. All of a sudden, tons of dudes found a fetish they never knew they had. Originally a martial artist who hit the gym to build upper body strength, out forearms made some serious gains after Lisa posed for some lip-smacking gashish shots in a 1980 issue of Playboy and then again for famed photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in ‘83. The original model for Marvel Comics’ Elektra, Lisa debuted on screen in an episode of Little House on the Prairie, before showing up in the French flick Three Crowns of the Sailor (1983). Three crowns gets three cheers from us at Skin Central, since it was here that we first got to see Lisa naked, all buff in the buff when she strips for a lucky man. We even get to see the snatch, and we ain’t talking about the Olympic lift! Lisa moved on to the bodybuilding based TV movie Getting Physical (1984) immediately after, but Lisa’s beautiful barbell-built boobs once again appeared on the big screen in Vamp (1986). As the female vampire Cimmaron, she made our blood pressure rise by flashing her muscle-rippling rump and pastie-covered pecs. Fans claim the film inspires them to do the clean and jerk–or is it vice versa? Lisa quit acting in 1997, and is now mostly known for her bodybuilding legacy rather than her movie career. It’s a shame because if you say Lisa’s the hottest bodybuilder ever, you’re not Lyon!
